Beta Tester's Guide (Build 7)

This is the last build before the major update with integration of "Isper".

In next major update, you can ask Isper such as "Find trendy and cozy coffee spots in Seongsu" or "Find late-night restaurant/bar near me", then Isper finds places with web search, then show places in the map right away. Otherwise, you can simply put social media URL like before to auto-pin places.

Also in next build,

• Fix various errors.

• Ability to share a user-created place via URL.

• From the search bar, find other users, follow/following, and view their places.

• Public (any user can see my saved places) and Private (only users I approve to follow can see my saved places) visibility.

How To Use

Username

• Set a username on login.

iOS Share Extension & URL Processing (New)

• iOS Share Extension (iOS 26 NOT WORKING)

  • On YouTube/TikTok/Instagram videos about places, tap Share.

  • Choose Isper Maps from the app list.

  • Redirected to Isper Maps.

  • After URL processing, places shown in the Place Group.

Place Group

• After processing URL, you can tap auto-generated Place Group, view places, and may save it all. (See video in home page)

• You can manually select places to create a Place Group (sharing a place group is in development).
  
  

  

• User-created places and places from shared link are saved as a list inside the Place Group.
  
  

  

Map & Overlay Buttons

• Overlay position: buttons do not overlap the dock.

• Current location button: Positioned in top-right corner, tap to locate your current position.

• Save all button:

  • Visible when viewing places in Place Group.

  • Hidden when all places in Place Group are saved.

    

• When zoomed in

  1. tapping a place marker (Google Maps native marker) opens place info and allows saving.
     
     

     

  2. Long-press on the map to show place names around the marker.

     
     

     

• Places list in the dock only shows place markers in your map's viewport.

  
  

  

Link Handling & Place Extraction

• Link submission without share

  • Copy/paste a link in the search bar

  • Tap Extract Places from "https://…"

  
  

Place Information Dock, Saving/Verifying

• Added a row of quick buttons; Verify, Direction, Call, Website button in the place info sheet.

• Save/Unsave place

  • Saving/unsaving from a place marker updates immediately.

• Verify Been There, Went Back

  • When you physically near the place, hit verify button.

  • Place status can be verified as "Went Back" after 24 hours status being "Been There".

• On failure: allow retry and show an error toast.

• Sync saved/verified state

  • Marker icons update instantly after saving.

  • Reflect changes in real time even while viewing places extracted from a link.

  • Keep state consistent across list / map / dock.
    
    

Profile/Settings

• Tapping the user profile photo in the Dock Bar opens the user profile.

• Tapping setting button on the right of user profile dock opens profile setting page.
